Bonnet ist eine lange Gurke mit starker Wuchskraft und offenem, arbeitsfreundlichem Wuchs. Die mittelgroßen Qualitätsfrüchte haben einen kurzen Stängelansatz. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Sorte ist die Resistenz gegen CGMMV (Gurkengrünscheckungsmosaik-Virus). Die lange Gurke Bonnet ist für die hohe Drahtkultur mit Assimilationslicht (>200 µmol) sowie für die Bodenkultur geeignet.
