Die Sorte bringt dunkelgrüne, schön geriefte Früchte in besonders uniformer Fruchtlänge und -qualität hervor. Die Früchte haben ein durchschnittliches Fruchtgewicht von über 400 g und ein gutes Shelf Life. Die lange Gurke Bonsagan überzeugt durch ihre umfangreichen Resistenzen gegen CGMMV (Gurkengrünscheckungsmosaik-Virus) und Mehltau (Px (ex Sf)).
